We are reviewing our Trust process for managing staff contact with infectious diseases. The Trust encompasses acute and community services.

We are a nurse led OH service with a visiting OH Consultant twice a month. Our service hours are Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm though we are being increasingly challenged to offer an out of hours service to respond to these contacts.

I’d like to know how do other OH services manage this process particularly those who don’t have a Dr on site every day?
