Caroline Eardley from Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals asks:
I’m struggling to recruit for a band 6 role. I have requested a specialist community public health nurse (OH) at degree or master level. I do have a band 5 training post but need the skills from a band 6. Can I ask if others have had this issue and do I need to consider a department restructure in bands. Locally we are competing against each other for nurses that aren’t there! Therefore should this specialist role be a band 7 to recruit?
