We are reviewing our approach to undertaking health surveillance within our Trust and I am curious as to the level of health surveillance activity that other OH services provide to their NHS hosts/customers?

Is this based on workplace risk assessment or does it tend to be historical custom and practice? Also I would be interested to hear from any OH services who have utilised an Occupational Hygienist to help determine the health surveillance needs for NHS staff working in the acute and community settings?
