We are dedicated to maintaining a healthy, motivated workforce
Dear Colleagues
I have had many enquiries about the impact of vaccination on the Covid-19 risk assessment and our fitness to work decision. Last week our CMO, Professor Chris Whitty confirmed that behaviour for those who have been vaccinated must not change until Government advice changes. This is because of current uncertainties about COVID-19, including the effect of the vaccine on transmission.
In the next few weeks I will be working with Faculty of Occupational Medicine and NHS Health at Work Network colleagues to consider the evolving information on this subject. I will share further updates with you as soon as I have them.
Kind regards
Dr. Shriti Pattani
Chair, NHS Health at Work
