We are dedicated to maintaining a healthy, motivated workforce
Dear Colleagues
The British Standards Institution (BSI) has now issued BS 45002-1, Guidance on the management of occupational health, for public consultation. We are planning to submit a Network response, so would be grateful for your comments on the draft document, which should be added to the attached form and returned to admin@nhshealthatwork.co.uk by Monday 30th April.
The draft is only available via the BSI Standards Development Portal (SDP) at https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/projects/2017-01893. To view the document you will need to register but this is free and only takes a minute.
When submitting comments please ensure that you specify the paragraph that the comment relates to. You are also asked to provide both a comment (ie. justification for a change) and a proposed change.
This is an opportunity for OH professionals to inform others - particularly those working in small and medium enterprises who may not have much knowledge on what they need to do, why they need to do it or how, and where to get help.
You can also submit your comments direct to BSI via the portal. The final deadline for comments is 14th May.
