This guideline provides evidence-based advice on the occupational management
of potentially infected food handlers. It will assist occupational health (OH)
professionals, managers and other interested parties in determining fitness for work of food handlers, and covers issues about returning to work as well as providing the scientific evidence underpinning fitness for work criteria.
